Hi, I’m Jamie…
I hold a Masters of Education and Communications with a focus on organizational sustainability as well as a Bachelors of Commerce in Entrepreneurship.
The work I do includes designing and delivering learning programs, building culture, facilitating idea generation and strategic planning sessions, coaching individuals, and guiding project management for organizations.
I am energized by …
I value …
I have been working with organizations and evolving as a facilitator, coach, education program designer, and consultant since 2004. I design and deliver programs in leadership, team building, emotional intelligence, trust, workplace culture, and personal sustainability.
This includes Jamie and Sandy’s design of SpawGlass’ Leadership through Teamwork and Next Generation programs, which won The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) 2010 National Award for Project and Executive Management Training.
Independently, Jamie has personally coached close to 100 (and counting) individuals as part of long-term executive training programs. He has also facilitated senior level strategic planning sessions, taught public speaking, and designed corporate wellness programs.
As an environmental educator, Jamie has worked with The Natural Step (a global non-profit, dedicated to education, advisory work, and research in sustainability) enhancing their Sustainability for Leaders course as his master’s thesis. In August 2012, Jamie travelled to San Francisco to train with Al Gore, as a presenter for the Climate Reality Project. Currently, in addition to continued work with Sandy, Jamie is actively pursuing partnerships in creating organizational sustainability.
Following the completion of his master’s degree in 2011, Jamie took a sabbatical to the magical island of Kauai, where for six months he took a program studying wellness, holistic living, personal development, communication, and psycho-therapeutic structural bodywork.
Jamie currently lives between Vancouver and Kauai. He loves working and creating with people, loves working ‘just the right amount’ with his dad, and enjoys being active in yoga, running, snowboarding, and squash.
Jamie holds a BCom in Entrepreneurship and a Master’s degree in Education and Communication with a focus on the Environment from Royal Roads University.
